Projects for the Summer:

1. Lego Sculpture : just taller than the average human adult, a pair of scissors, sitting on its handles (Daniel-help me?, anyone with spare legos that they don't mind giving up should let me know)

2. T-shirts for Joshua : Ti Creative Styling logo (made screen, screwed up first two)

3. Screenprinting : for fun

4. Collage : still working on the details of a large collage

5. Painting : Ashleigh still needs a painting from me and I finally have a plan

6. Vegas : a different collage for a Vegas theme

7. Portfolio : still need to put together a solid digital one

8. Other stuff.....probably won't happen

If you haven't seen it, it's about genocide against red heads. sounds like a bad joke but once you've seen it, it's no longer potentially bad humor but more just something that leaves you stunned...its around nine minutes long and pretty graphic (pre-warning), along with the fact that the first few minutes are kinda confusing. so yeah...thoughts?

*So with the new revelation on Jon Lacina, I can't help but think that the number of campus tragedies at Iowa State in my four years is apalling. Its sad that I will always remember that when I was in college three college males died mysteriously in a lake on campus, in the elevator shaft of my building, and in an abandoned building....
Extremely sad...


Scratch that-the ISU death toll from my years in Ames is now eight. Six of them in one semester-Spring 2010. Latest one was a student who was charged with child pornography and set to be tried the day before they went to his campus apartment and found him dead. 


All deaths were sad and widely publicized as tragedies, but how is this looking for Iowa State University affairs? Sorry to drag it on, I am just highly intrigued by the whole situation. *

Job search continues :(...Dad is in town with Brooks and my dog Willy for ten days :)...then lots of homework :(....then VEISHEA :)....then finals :(....then summer :)....quite the roller coaster i must say

22? 2 is my favorite number!

So this past friday was my 22nd birthday. TONS of fun with my sister in minnesota (and dillon and nikki and blake and michael and chelsea and josh) but why is it that everyone is telling me how old I am? I don't feel old at all...well despite the bruised feeling in my legs from partying....in the words of my brother: "sometimes I just have to sit down and have a good talk with my body. I have to remind it that if it pushes me every step of the way, that I will only be forced to push harder." Thanks for the presents and birthday wishes, definitely made me feel a million times better about life.
